I am Brave Teen Devotional Book | Review

It’s so hard being a tweener or teenager today. What’s a tweener?! You know! A tweener-the age group before you are officially considered a teenager. Tweens and teens are faced with tremendous pressure from social media and their peers. Not to mention the psychological battles of identity, the hormonal and physical body changes that cannot be controlled, and the more recent confusions around sexual orientation. As a former youth leader, the experiences of today’s tween or teenager far greatly exceed what I was concerned about when I was a tween or teenager.

I am Brave Teen Devotional: Raising a Tweener or Teenager isn’t easy!

Are you raising a “tween” daughter? Are you raising a teenage girl who will soon transition into an adult before you blink? Have you been in search of faith-based books, journals, or devotionals to empower your girl? Are you looking for resources that will help her connect with God at a young age? Well, I’ve got just the treat for you.

I Am Brave is an open invitation

I am so excited to share the book “I Am Brave” Devotions, Questions, and Quizzes for Brave Girls with you. It is an invitation for girls ages 8–12 to join the Brave Girls cast—Hope, Glory, Faith, Gracie, and Honor—as they grow closer to God every day. And it’s the latest book in the popular series called Brave Girls. Your daughter, niece, or granddaughter will immediately connect with this book and will not put it down. Thank me later! (Wink, wink!)

No need for a Diary

Truth is, I wish I had a devotional like this growing up. I Am Brave replaces the “Dear diary” days of my tween-age years. Inside, your brave girl will find journaling prompts, devotions, prayers, and answers to questions about God’s existence, love, faithfulness, and identity. I am Brave aims to help build your brave girl’s faith and make her more courageous! But don’t just take my word for it. 1. Great post! I will be sure to share this book with any parent of a teenage girl. It is exactly as you said, tweens and teens these days are facing a lot more than we had to and I’m glad there are resources out there.
