6 Unforgettable Father’s Day Gift Ideas in 2024
Hey there sis, feeling stuck on Father’s Day gift ideas!
Looking for new ways to bless your Hubby or special Dad in your life? Or maybe you’ve given Dad everything you can think of! I know how that feels. I mean, how many more ties, dress shirts, watches, or cologne can our Dads get on Father’s Day?!? Moreover, if you’re like me, you may have multiple gifts to give and want each one to be unique.
What if you could give a heartfelt gift that would inspire them daily or make a lasting impression?
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV) reminds us to “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up”. Father’s Day is the perfect time to encourage and tell your special Dad, stepdad, uncle, brother, son or any Father figure how much you really appreciate them. Well, I’ve curated a list of a few ideas that will do just that! Keep reading for the details:
Six Unforgettable Father’s Day Gift Ideas
1. A Men’s Devotional
A devotional is a great way to inspire a Dad to take 5-10 minutes out of his day to focus in on a specific Bible passage or topic for the day. The pressure of being a man comes with great weight, and the title of Dad is just one of them. Help ease Dad’s weight with a devotional that will speak to his needs and his heart. Make it heartfelt by writing a personal message or prayer in the front cover of the devotional. If you don’t have room, write a handwritten letter and stick in one of the passages that you want Dad to discover as he completes the book. See my top picks here!
2. Inspirational Men’s Book
If Dad enjoys reading, there are many great books options for him this Father’s Day! Here’s just a few from the Top 20 Best Selling Christian Books:
- Kingdom Man by Dr. Tony Evans
- The One Year Uncommon Life Daily Challenge
- No More Excuses: Be the Man God Made You to Be [Book]
- The Rise of the Servant Kings by Ken Harrison
- The Bible
Add your heartfelt touch by writing a special note or prayer for Dad on the front cover of the book!
3. A Personalized card with a message of hope
Looking for the right card to pair with your gift can be challenging. Far too often, I spend at least an hour reading through all the Father’s Day cards in search of the perfect message for Dad. Dayspring has just what you and I are looking for! Grab one of their inspirational Father’s Day cards that you won’t find anywhere else! Personalize it with a heartfelt story of appreciation for Dad or a favorite experience that you miss having together.
4. Father’s Day Photo Shoot
Most Dads are so busy working and providing to plan a photo shoot. Surprise Dad by planning a photo shoot in his favorite gear, dressy or casual. Be sure to take a few family pics with Dad. Then, create a collage of your favorite shots of Dad. Frame your collage with a quote or verse that will encourage Dad for many years to come.
5. Personal Video Message
Is Dad tech-savvy? Record a personal video message for Dad with a heartfelt message of appreciation. Gather candid pictures of you, the family, and Dad in action and create a slideshow or YouTube video. Make a lasting impression by saving this video or slideshow on Dad’s phone, laptop, or tablet to revisit whenever he likes.
6. Plan a Daddy spa date or dinner date
This idea is one of my favorites. Give Dad your undivided attention with a spa or dinner date. Pamper Dad for a day. You’re probably thinking Spa!?! Yes, I said it. In honor of Men’s Health Awareness month, our men need a day to relax and release muscle tension from the wear and tear of daily life. The #1 killers of Men are Suicide and Heart Attacks! A spa day wouldn’t hurt next to that statistic! If that’s still not an option, plan a dinner date with Dad. Make it heartfelt by only discussing what Dad wants and let him do most of the talking. Encourage and inspire Dad to keep dreaming!
