HEART Community Resource Center | Free Adult Health Resources for Parents

Hey Mama! Today, I want to share a free resource that will benefit any parent- even if you’re just starting out, from the HEART Community Resource Center. When my son was born, there were so many things I wish I knew. The start of my breastfeeding journey felt like such an accomplishment. But, shortly after returning home, things became complicated. I remember feeling so defeated. Having access to breastfeeding tips and classes would’ve been a great help.

As my little ones get older, I’ve been focusing on my health. Mama, it’s so easy for our health to take a back seat in the busyness of motherhood. But there’s no time like the present to take charge of your health and become a better YOU! What if I told you that help is available to navigate through your current stage of motherhood, parenting and self care?

What’s the HEART Community Resource Center?

HEART Community Resource Center provides FREE resources for adult health, including parenting and family support. They’re powered by Community Care Plan, the health plan with a heart, whose mission is to build healthier communities. Community Care Plan is committed to ensuring that you receive high-quality care and are educated about common health topics. Community Care Plan is based in Florida and serves 100,000 members of the community. Best of all, you do not need to be a Community Care Plan member to access this great resource and attend events!

Through the HEART Community Resource Center, you’ll find a wide array of programs, live and on-demand videos, and health education. If you’re a new mom, you will enjoy the support and resources on breastfeeding, newborn care, and baby safety. If you’re like me, you’ll benefit from the parenting tips and nutrition hacks for kids. Upcoming Events for October & November

HEART Community Resource Center has a few live events happening for the next two months. They are definitely worth attending! I’m looking forward to the Parenting Connection Support Forum sessions. It’s an online support group that offers parental education, connects you with other parents, and provides meaningful conversation on parenting. I’m also excited to share that there is a new Breastfeeding and Newborn support series available. Each session is geared towards the expecting and new moms.
