15 Fun Christian Toys and Games to Inspire your Kids

Have you been wondering how to introduce your little ones to faith?

It might be a bit difficult for small kids to learn faith when you just talk about it, but incorporating these stories into their toys and games gets easier for them. Even if they don’t fully understand it, they can familiarize themselves with things that reflect the Bible and Christ.

What this does is that it makes it easier for you as a parent to fully and explicitly explain what faith and Christianity are to them when they are a bit older. There are a variety of Christian toys and games that can help you to achieve this.

How playing influences child development

Playing is an essential part of a child’s developmental stages, as it affects the child’s physical, emotional, mental, and social abilities because it lays the foundation of cognitive understanding.

Playing can be structured or unstructured (planned or unplanned). The difference between these two types of play is their intentionality: structured play is intentional, while unstructured play happens by chance.

Here are the ways play influences child development:

  • Enhances cognitive reasoning
  • Increases their social skills
  • Improves their communication skills
  • Builds self-confidence
  • Develops the brain faster
  • Increases the well-being of your child
  • It helps kids have an understanding of the uniqueness of the world
  • It enhances creativity through imaginative thinking

Let’s Recap

The mantra is to “catch them young.” You might want to believe your kid is still too small and will not understand what you teach them, but they do!

You must introduce whatever principles, habits, and beliefs you want in your child early in their lives—what better way than through the things that capture their attention. Toys and games are valuable tools in helping kids develop their critical thinking skills, strengthen their memory, and develop their personality traits.
